Homer Charles Tanner Jr., 89, of North Little Rock, passed away Sunday, January 18, 2015. He was born on January 12, 1926 in North Little Rock, Arkansas to the late Homer Charles and Leona Ethel Tanner Sr. He was preceded in death by his parents; his brother, John Tanner; and sisters, Gladys Kimbark and Patsy Johnson. He is survived by his sister, Barbara Mayhan and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be at 11 a.m., Thursday, January 22, 2015, at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F. Kennedy Blvd., North Little Rock, Arkansas (501-791-7400) with interment at Bayou Meto Cemetery in Jacksonville at 1 p.m. The family will receive friends at 10 a.m., one hour before service, at the funeral home.
