Douglas John Frans

Douglas John Frans, 62, a resident of Little Rock, passed away January 19, 2015 at his home. He was born October 27, 1952 in New Brunswick, New Jersey, the son of Robert Frans and Marilee Nelson. He received his Masters in Social Work from UALR and later his Doctorate from the University of Denver. Doug was a Clinical Social Worker and an Alcohol and Drug Abuse Counselor for over 30 years, helping many. Survivors include two children, Clayton Frans of Little Rock and Molly Frans of Fayetteville; his father, Robert Frans of Fayetteville and his mother, Marilee Nelson of Prairie Grove, two sisters, Cyndy Binder and husband Allen and Catherine Hall and husband Ben all of Prairie Grove, and five nieces. Memorial service will be held Friday January 23, 2015, 10 a.m. Luginbuel Chapel in Prairie Grove. Online guest book, www.luginbuel.com.
