Ruth Elizabeth Boots

Ruth Elizabeth Boots, 95, formerly of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, died January 17, 2015 at Heritage Living Center in Conway, Arkansas. Ruth was born on October 9, 1919 in Cedar Rapids, Iowa, the daughter of Harry and Mable Colson and was one of nine children. Ruth was married to the late Donald Boots for 59 years prior to his death in 1998. Ruth worked as an electrical assembler Collins Radio Rockwell, Inc. for 29 years. Upon her retirement, she and Donald moved to Conway, Arkansas in 1980. Ruth was a loving mother, a devout Christian, a great cook and loved working in her garden. Ruth is survived by her daughter, Carol Dusil; son, Ronald Boots; seven grandchildren; nine great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Conway Funeral Home, 1751 Dave Ward Drive, Conway, Ark. 72034, Friday, January 23, 2015. Visitation will be one hour prior to the service. Entombment will be at Crestlawn Memorial Park.
