Sue Ann Buchanan

Sue Ann Buchanan, Lt. Col. USAF (Ret.), 78, of Little Rock, Arkansas, died Saturday, January 17, 2015 in Little Rock, Arkansas. Sue Ann was born in Mountain View, Missouri, on August 29, 1936, to James Graydon Buchanan and Annabelle Kounce Buchanan. Sue Ann was a 1954 graduate of Wynne High School in Wynne, Arkansas and a 1958 graduate of the University Of Tennessee School Of Nursing in Memphis, Tennessee. She served briefly as a nurse in the United States Navy and later joined the United States Air Force as a nurse from which she retired as a lieutenant colonel. She served her country during Vietnam. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother, Dr. Thomas L. Buchanan. Survivors are her brother, James Graydon Buchanan, Jr., three nieces, and three nephews. Graveside services will be held at Crosslawn Cemetery, Saturday, January 24, 2015.
