Elizabeth B. Katchur

Elizabeth B. Katchur of Sherwood, our beloved mother, was born to her earthly life in Carteret, New Jersey on December 2, 1922 and born again to her spiritual life in 1992, putting on Christ in baptism at Rose City Church of Christ, North Little Rock, Arkansas. After struggling with several physical ailments most of her adult and elderly life, the struggle and pain was left behind on January 22, 2015 as she left this life for the better things promised by our holy and merciful God. A place where He will wipe away every tear from her eyes, there will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things have passed away (Revelation 21:4). Elizabeth was preceded in death by her father and mother, three brothers and one sister, all of New Jersey. She is survived by three sisters in New Jersey and one brother in Florida; three children, Nick Katchur, North Little Rock, Barbara Hull, Sherwood, and Richard Katchur, Mount Juliet, Tennessee; two grandsons, Richard Katchur, Cabot, and Howard Katchur, Conway; one granddaughter, Paige Katchur, Lebanon, Tennessee and one great-granddaughter, Anna Katchur, Conway. Visitation will begin at 1 p.m. today (Saturday) at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Road, North Little Rock (501) 835-3515 with a graveside service at 2 p.m. in Rest Hills Memorial Park with Keith Harris of WindSong Church of Christ officiating.
