Marjorie Sharpe Davis went to be with the Lord on January 21, 2015. She was born March 10, 1926 in West Palm Beach, Florida to Vastine and Mildred Sharpe. She grew up in the same city and graduated from W. Palm Beach High School. She met the love of her life (Warren "Dave" Davis) while working as a secretary in an office building occupied by the U.S. Army during WWII. Once married they moved to Mobile, AL, England, Omaha, NE, Tampa, Fla., Spain, and back to Tampa, where they lived the next 46 years. Marjorie and Dave moved to Little Rock five years ago, joined Immanuel Baptist Church, were members of Pairs and Squares Sunday School class, and moved to Chenal Fox Ridge two years ago. She was the consummate wife of a USAF officer, moving her family from military base to base, making new friends, participating in activities and providing leadership for the Officer's Wives Clubs, entertaining in her home, and playing bridge, darts and other games. She was always involved in church activities, served as the Sunday School Director at Bayshore Baptist Church (Tampa), and was a volunteer for the American Red Cross serving in military hospitals for over 50 years. She loved to travel, read, spend time with her family and friends, and watch football games. She also enjoyed outdoor activities such as fishing, camping, hiking, and swimming in the ocean. She had a flare for clothes, shoes and accessories and was always dressed impeccably. She will be remembered for her kindness and concern for others. She always put others first and was supportive regardless of the adversity. She was the perfect role model for wife, mother, grandmother and friend. She will be greatly missed by her family and friends. Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents and a sister, Dorothye Vaughan. She is survived by her husband of 69 years, Warren Davis; two children, Kathy Eisenach (Jeff) and Ken Davis (Bren), both of Little Rock; three grandchildren, Terri Davis Kelley, Wade Davis (Bekah), and Kyle Eisenach (Emily); eight grandchildren, Noah, Kaya and Jade Kelley, Hadlee Rodgers, Haven and Hayes Davis, Noah and Lily Eisenach; four nieces and four nephews. The family would like to thank Dr. Kajkenova and the Chenal Fox Ridge staff for their love, support and excellent care. A Celebration of life service will be held at the Chapel at Immanuel Baptist Church 12 noon, Monday, January 26, 2015. The family will receive friends following the services.
