Eva Chesteen Dickhut, 86, of Rogers passed away Thursday, Jan. 15. She was born Oct. 2, 1928 in Pea Ridge to the late Leonard and Addie Tiner Miser. Eva, a life-long Christian, was preceded in death by her parents and step-mother, Nellie Luker Miser; brothers Gene (Olivia) and Paul Miser. Survivors include her loving husband of more than 67 years, Don Dickhut; a sister, Georgia Nail; a son, Joe Don Dickhut and wife, Kathryn Fairchild Dickhut of Jacksonville, Ark.; a daughter, Debbie Dickhut Weaver and husband, Bob Weaver of Rogers; four grandchildren, Whitney (Ashley) Mann, Adam (Diana) Weaver, Melody (Leonard) Zechiedrich and Matthew Dickhut; six great-grandchildren, Nevlyn, Eli and Tatum Mann, Brooklynn and Charlie Zechiedrich and Brig Weaver. Eva and Don have influenced many lives over the last 40 years through a 12 step recovery program and enjoyed traveling 48 states during many of those years in their motor homes. The family would like to express their gratitude and sincere appreciation to Innisfree Nursing Center, friends and family for their kindness and love. Visitation will be Monday from 4:30-6:30 p.m. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 10 a.m. in the Chapel of Rollins Funeral Home in Rogers. Interment will follow at Benton County Memorial Park.
