Jason Cordell Newsom

Jason Cordell Newsom, 36, of Little Rock, formerly of Conway, departed this life January 23, 2015. He was born on April 2, 1978 in Memphis, Tenn. Jason grew up in Conway where he graduated from Conway High School. He loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting and fishing with family and friends. Jason leaves to cherish his memory four beautiful children, Lane, Kinley, Claire, and Nate, of Vilonia. He is also survived by his parents, Thomas W. Newsom (Mary Ellen) of Little Rock and Janice Pickard (David) of Benton, three brothers, Shawn Newsom (Miranda) of Benton, Eric Newsom and Patrick Newsom, both of Little Rock, his grandmother, Helen Newsom of Olive Branch, MS, and many aunts, uncles, cousins, friends, and his beloved dog, Boudreaux, who will all miss him dearly. A visitation will be held Thursday, January 29, 6 p.m. – 8 p.m. at Roller-Chenal Funeral Home, 13801 Chenal Parkway, Little Rock, Ark. 72211 (501) 224-8300.
