Wesley "Wes" Carnell Dinwiddie, 61, of Sherwood, passed away January 25, 2015. Wesley was born September 22, 1953 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He is preceded in death by parents, Arthur and Geraldine Dinwiddie. Wesley is survived by his wife and best friend of 37 years, Katie Lynne Dinwiddie; son, Christopher "Chris" Wesley Dinwiddie and family, Jennifer Garrison, Chandler, Ashton and Jayden of Cabot; and daughter, Shelley Lynne Dinwiddie; grandson, Titan Christopher Dinwiddie; and granddaughter, Ayden Lynne Dinwiddie, all of Sherwood; and a host of other family and friends. Wesley had recently retired after 35 years with Union Pacific Railroad Signal Communication Department. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Railroad Signalmen. Wesley loved the great outdoors and hunted and fished every chance he could. He especially loved fishing with his son, "Chris" and often fished Lake Conway. He loved hunting near Evening Shade with his long-time friend, Ray Runsick and working on his fishing boat with his good friend, Larry Massey. He loved his daughter, Shelley and his grandchildren, Titan and Ayden with all his heart. His grandchildren called him "Papaw". Wesley "Wes" "Papaw" will be missed greatly. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, January 30, 2015 at Roller-Owens Funeral Home Chapel, 5509 John F.
