Kimberly Kay (Allen) Palmer, 47, a loving wife, mother, sister and Maw Maw went to her castle in the sky January 26, 2015. Waiting for her were her father and mother, Bob and Ollie Jean (Week) Allen, dear brother-in-law, Ed Wood and friends she cherished so dearly. Kim left this world to be the guardian angel of the love of her life Duane Palmer. Her children Meagan (Shane) Massey, Katy (Tyler) Childres, three grandchildren who hung her moon, Cooper, Stella, and Blaise, two loving sisters Betty Wood, Cindy Rhodes (Jackie) and lifelong best friend Von Crain. Kim was born in Gurdon, Arkansas and moved all over until finally landing in Punta Gorda, Florida with her soul mate. Kim and Duane shared a love that people can only dream of. They shared a passion for traveling, the ocean, scuba diving and most of all Walt Disney World. She and Duane also shared a love for their family that words will never describe. Kim's children and grand-children will forever cherish the love, laughter, memories and support. Her family was the beat in her heart. Kim took the telecom world by storm obtaining many achievements. She leaves behind an empty whole for Whindstream Communications where she was a Regional Sales Director. The Telecom business will forever cherish the leader, coach, inspiration and competitor she turned out to be. Kim was not one in a million, she was one in a lifetime and as Kim always said "See you at the castle". Visitation will be: Saturday January 31, 2015 from 6 p.m.-8 p.m. at Pharr Funeral Home of Gurdon Chapel. Service will be: Sunday, February 1, 2015 at 2:30 p.m. at Beech Street Baptist Church with Bro. James McCain. Interment will be in Center Ridge Cemetery, Gurdon, Arkansas.
