Larry Gene Simpson Sr. age 61, of Jacksonville, went to be with his Lord on January 25, 2015 in Jacksonville. Born December 2, 1953 in Lapanto, to the late Donald and Thelma Acklin Simpson. Also proceeded in death two brothers: Tommy Simpson, and Shane Simpson, sister: Teresa Hendricks and granddaughter: Madison Martin. Larry is survived by wife: Deborah Simpson of Jacksonville, three sons: Larry Simpson Jr. of Jacksonville, Joe Elkins Jr. of Jacksonville, Adam Elkins of Cabot, three daughters: Tanya Eldred of Paw Paw, Michigan, Rena Martin of Cabot, Sarah Wagner of Georgia, two brothers: Darnell Simpson of Illinois, David Simpson of Bangor, Michigan, four sister: Linda Clark of Jonesboro, Sylvia Duncan of North Carolina, Kimberly Goodrich of Bangor, Michigan, Donna Bruner of Jonesboro, 15 grandchildren, two great-grandchildren and a host of other family and friends.
