Cherie V. "Boots" Wisinger, 91, of White Hall died Thursday, January 29, 2015 at Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff. She started her journey through life near Elkins, West Virginia on November 1, 1923. She moved to the state of Washington in 1931. The lady she lived with could not support her, so she spent her growing up years living from family to family. In 1942, World War II sent a lot of soldiers to Fort Lewis, near Tacoma, Wash. She met and married a soldier from Fordyce, Ark., Grady Brown. In 1943 she moved to Arkansas. She later married Otis Lee Jacobs of Fordyce, Ark. She spent the next 23 years in Arkansas and was blessed with five children, Garry Brown, Deanna Allen, Sandi Garner, Duane Jacobs (deceased), and Randy Jacobs. She moved to Pine Bluff in 1965 and in 1967 met and married Frankie Wisinger from Hampton, Ark. She moved to Baton Rouge, La. and spent 10 years there with him while he worked in construction. 1n 1977 we moved to Hampton. Frankie died in 2003. In 2004 she moved to Rison to be near three of her children, Deanna, Sandi and Randy. Her survivors include four children, thirteen grandchildren and 26 great grandchildren; and one great-great grandchild. Her journey in life is over now and she will be cremated and her ashes buried beside her husband Frankie. Goodbye and God bless all, "Boots. Private memorial services will be at a later date.
