Christopher Brown

Christopher DeMario Brown, 24, of Arkadelphia, born to the Union of Regina and Lamar Brown on October 10, 1990 in Benton, Arkansas. He lived the first five years of his life in Dallas, Texas and then the family moved back to Benton. In 2013, he moved to Arkadelphia and remained there until his death. He professed a belief in Jesus Christ and accepted him as his personal savior as a young child. Christopher was baptized and joined the Mt. Zion Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Lewis Justice. He was active in the youth department until his life journey took him to other cities. Christopher was educated in the Benton Public School System, graduating in 2009. He was in several clubs including ROTC and football, in which he was nicknamed "Radio". The only thing he was not proficient in was athletics. He attended Henderson State University in August 2009. Christopher joined the United States Army National Guard in August of 2011. He rose to the rank of Specialist of the Company F 2nd Battalion 211th Aviation Division at Camp Robinson in North Little Rock. Christopher was an intelligent, wise, funny, loving, giving and dependable young man. He will be greatly missed and always loved. Those that are waiting for him with open arms are his great-grandparents, Alma & Joel White, Sylvia & A.B. Brown, Maxine & Henry Simmons and Geraldine & Eddie Morrison and an uncle, Jerry LaShone Danner. He leaves his family on earth which includes his mother, Regina Danner Brown (Dsanja) of Little Rock; fathers, Lamar Brown (Loretta) of Conway and Donald Morrison of Little Rock; his fiance'e, Elizabeth Rosales of Arkadelphia; brothers, Darren Brown of Benton, Marshawn Brown of Arkadelphia, Deuntae Gentry of Arkadelphia and Kevin Morrison of Williamsport, Pennsylvania; sister, Myesha Brown of Arkadelphia; grandparents, Andrew & Frankie Brown of Gurdon, Charlene Dawn of Benton and Jerry Danner of Benton; great-grandfather, John Danner of Malvern; aunts, Janice Danner of Benton and Renessa Sanders (Morris) of Sherwood; uncles, Terry Danner (Annastezayaa) of Douglasville, Georgia; Kevin Brown of St. Louis, Missouri and Roderick Brown of Gurdon; nieces, Kiahna Brown and Brynlee Brown; nephew, Jayden Brown all of Colcord, Oklahoma and a host of family and friends.
