Jessie Thurman McBride

Jessie Oleta Thurman McBride, 93, departed this life January 27, 2015 at a local nursing home. She was born February 2, 1921 to the late Melvin and Ethel Thurman at Red Springs, Texas. She was preceded in death by her brothers, J.R. and Henry Thurman; sister, Mary Pharris; daughter, Mary Ann Abshier; granddaughter, Lisa Wyles (Matthews). She is survived by three daughters, Shirley Matthews, Patsy Langford (Charles) and Carolyn Walls all of Lonoke, Arkansas; brother, Pat Thurman (Ann) of Dallas, Texas; six grandchildren, ninw great-grandchildren, 18 great-great-grandchildren. Graveside services were held on Friday, January 30, 2015 under the direction of Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home, 7724 Landers Rd., North Little Rock, Arkansas. 72117.
