Larry Don Horton

Larry Don Horton of Harrison, Ark., passed from this life, Sunday, June 28th, 2015 at Hospice of The Hills in Harrison. He was 59 years old. A Memorial Service will be held at 1 p.m. Thursday, July 2, 2015 at Ridgeway Church of Christ, with visitation & meal immediately following. Jordan Methvin will officiate. He was born August 17th, 1955 to Dorsey & Nella (Huckabee) Horton in Marshall, Ark. He graduated from Marshall High School in 1973, & began working for AP&L in November 1973. Due to illness, he retired June 1st, 2015. He was baptized into Christ March 19th, 1995 at Ridgeway church of Christ, and remained a faithful member there until death. He was preceded in death by his father, Dorsey Horton, his brother, Jimmy Dorsey Horton, his grandparents, Raymond and Reba Huckabee and Ruth and Sherm Sullins. He is survived by his mother, Nella Horton, wife, Lisa Horton, his children, Dackari (Jeff) Carnahan, Jared (Tracy) Horton, Emily Horton, and Tray Horton, grandsons, Braydon, Payton, and Keyton Carnahan and Marshall Horton, sister Vickie (Don) Watts, sister-in-law, Linda Horton, and a host of extended family and friends who loved him dearly. Larry enjoyed hunting and fishing with his buddies, camping with family and close friends, continuing the tradition of his brother's garden, but most of all spending time with his children, grandchildren, and family.
