Robert Bogie Bramlett

Robert "Bogie" Bramlett 67, of Clinton, Arkansas was called to be with the Lord on Sunday, June 28, 2015. He was born November 22, 1947 in Plant, Arkansas to Monroe and Floy (Lay) Bramlett. Bogie was a loving husband, father, grandfather, and a dear friend to all that knew and loved him. He was of the Baptist faith. Bogie never met a stranger. He befriended people everywhere, drawing them in with his quick wit and a promise of a big coke and a candy bar. Robert was a logger for many years before serving the people of Van Buren County as the County Judge. He held this position for four terms and entered retirement. He was later elected to the Quorum Court and did so until his passing. He was preceded in death by his parents, a sister, Nettie Jo Kirkendoll and six brothers, J.C., Willard, Martin, Buster, Louis, and Lonzo Bramlett. He is survived by the love of his life, his wife, Betsy Bramlett they were married for 31 years. He leaves to cherish his memory one daughter, Shawna Bramlett-Waller (Shane) one son, Cody Lee and wife Crystal Bramlett of Clinton. He was loved and adored by his four grandchildren, Shalyn Renae and Hailey Jade Bramlett, Sloan Katherine Waller, and Trent Lynn Pearson. Survivors also include one sister, Betty Ramey, and three brothers, Melvin, Chastine and Donald Gene Bramlett, along with a host of nieces, nephews and close friends. Pallbearers: Wilbur Bramlett, Kevin Horton, Bobby Howard, Shane Waller, Bobby Joe Bramlett, and Robert W. Bramlett. Honorary Pallbearers: Hershell Bramlett, Wayne Bramlett, Randy Polston, Ronnie Myers, and Byron Dugger. Visitation will be 1 p.m. and Funeral Service will be 2 p.m. Wednesday, July 1, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel Clinton, Arkansas with Pastors Tommy Jolly and Darrell Black officiating.
