Jack dedicated 40 years of his life to a professional career in education. During this time he wrote numerous safe school, literacy, and technology grants. Upon retirement, Jack became an esteemed published author realizing his earliest dreams of writing and storytelling. His first book, Stray Cat People, was published in 2010. Jack dedicated this book to his mother and father. Jack and Peggy are members of St. Joseph's Church in Conway, Arkansas.
