Kenneth Jones Jr.

Kenneth Jones Jr., 69, of Bald Knob, died Tuesday, June 30, 2015. He was born June 20, 1946 in Bald Knob and had been employed as a supervisor at Land O Frost, Wal-Mart Distribution and ITT. Kenneth adored his family, especially his grandchildren and enjoyed spoiling them. He loved to read and garden as well as travel. He was a former Bald Knob City Councilman and always kept up with the issues in the city. Kenneth had also been a member of the Bald Knob Volunteer Ambulance Service and the Bald Knob Fire Department. He is survived by his wife of 48 years, Theresa (Moore) Jones; sons, Casey Jones (Mendi) and Gary Jones; sisters, Mary Hodges (Johnny) and Pat Leonard (Eddie); father, Kenneth "Buck" Jones; grandchildren, Peyton, Logan, Ally, Wesley and Eastyn Jones; step-sisters, Wilma Russell, Frances Cook, Reva Green and Treva Pickens; brother-in-law, Tommy Moore (Gail); sister-in-law, Janice Reeves (Floyd). He was preceded in death by his mother, Venita Jones; step-mother; Gladys Estes Jones; niece, Robin Hodges; step-brothers, Victor and Billy Estes. Visitation will be Thursday from 6-8 p.m. Services will be held on Friday, July 3, 2015 at 2 p.m. at the Powell Funeral Home Chapel.
