Edgar L Wyles

Edgar L. Wyles, age 84, of Monticello, passed away Wednesday, July 8, 2015 at Drew Memorial Hospital in Monticello. He was born September 3, 1930 in Monticello to the late A.B. Owens and Johnnie Wyles and was also preceded in death by his wife, Betty Shedd Wyles. He was retired from Burlington Industries and a longtime member and deacon of Second Baptist Church. Survivors include a brother-in-law, Danny Shedd of Searcy along with numerous cousins and many friends. Funeral service will be 2 p.m. Friday, July 10 at Second Baptist Church in Monticello with burial to follow in Oakland Cemetery. Visitation will be held at the church one hour prior to service time.
