CHARLES EDWARD BENNETT, of Little Rock, passed away July 11, 2015. He was born March 5, 1929 in Little Rock to Jim and Delphia Bennett. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first wife, Wilma Crow Bennett; and brother, J.D. Bennett. Charles retired from ARKLA. He was a member of Landmark Missionary Baptist Church; Iron Springs Masonic Lodge; and AARP. A loving family man, Charles enjoyed lending a helping hand to friends and family. He loved traveling, listening to gospel music, and watching his grandsons play ball. He is survived by his wife , Freda McCann Bennett; daughter, Linda Sallee; two grandsons, Brian Hopkins and his wife, Mandy, Kevin Hopkins and his wife, Melissa; great-grandson, Ian Hopkins and great-granddaughter, Huntley Hopkins. Visitation will be Monday, July 13 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Healey and Roth. Funeral service will be Tuesday at 2 p.m. at Landmark Missionary Baptist Church. Interment will follow at Landmark Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association, P.O.
