Mary Ruth McCourt Love Thomas

MARY RUTH MCCOURT LOVE THOMAS, 85, passed on July 7, 2015. Mary lived in Lake City for 42 years and Little Rock for three years. Mary was a homemaker and a member of the Church of Christ. Mary is preceded in death by her husbands, Antone "Bud" Love (1952-1987) and John Thomas (1991-1993); her parents, Edgar and Ida Lou McCourt; one daughter, Melinda Cobb; one son-in-law, Robert Fry, one stepdaughter, Brenda Clark; two brothers, Bill McCourt and Melvin McCourt and two sisters; Edna Belle Wiseman and Emma Lou Yerby. Her survivors include one brother, John (Linda) McCourt; four daughters: Debbie (Gerald) Baker; Gloria Miller; Christine DeWitt; Carolyn Fry; six stepchildren: nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren. Funeral service will be held at 2 p.m.,Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Emerson Funeral Home in Jonesboro, Ark. with burial at Pine Log Cemetery in Brookland, Ark. Michael Meredith will be officiating.
