Jerry Wayne Hill

Jerry Wayne Hill of Mt. View, Ark., 76, passed away July 11, 2015 in Mt. View. He was born Dec. 29, 1938 in Stuttgart, Ark. to Russell Lige Hill and Mary Alice Jones Hill. He was a member of First United Methodist Church in Mt. View. He retired from GTE in 1989 after 28 years. He loved his family fiercely. He was an avid sports lover and Razorback fan. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, James Russell Hill. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Martha Decker Hill, his son; Anthony Wayne Hill (Terry) of Rudy, Ark.; his daughter, Tammy Lynn Wilcox of Prairie Grove, Ark.; his granddaughter, Sabrina Hill Ables (Lee) of Humphrey, Ark.; his grandson, Michael Justin Maier of Ft. Lauderdale, Fla.; his sister, Connie Mayhue (Buck) of Stuttgart, Ark.; his great-grandson, Dalton Lee Ables; and numerous nieces and nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation will be 5-7, Monday, July 13, 2015 at Roller England Funeral Home in England, Ark. A graveside service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 14, 2015 at Frazier Cemetery in Alcorn.
