Roy Scott Baker, 80, died Sunday, July 12, 2015. He was born September 8, 1934 at Sheridan, Ark. to the late George Millard Baker and the late Lois Lillian Baker. He graduated from Pine Bluff High School and served in the U.S. Navy. He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, Lynn Harrison and Betty Massanelli. He is survived by his wife, Shelby Casey Baker, daughters, Lillian Cranford (Steve), Tracey Rosenau (Tim), and grandchildren, Jessica Ellis (Brook), Jason Cranford, Emily Rosenau, great-grandchildren, Annabelle Ellis and Weston Ellis. Roy retired from Civil Engineering at LRAFB in 1990 and continued working in the construction industry retiring from Cranford Construction Company in 2003. He was an avid golfer and played golf until becoming ill on Monday, June 22nd. He was an active member of Central Baptist Church in North Little Rock, Ark. for 52 years serving as trustee, deacon, Sunday school teacher and served on many church committees. Visitation will be Wednesday, July 15 from 5 p.m. till 7 p.m. at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held on July 16, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Central Baptist Church, North Little Rock, Ark. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
