Wayne Toombs

Wayne Floyd Toombs, 85, of North Little Rock passed away Monday, July 13, 2015. He was born January 4, 1930 in Gurdon, Arkansas to the late Wilton Paul Toombs, Sr. and Frances Louise McMahan Toombs. He was an Army veteran serving during the Korean Conflict era, retired from Missouri/Union Pacific Railroad as an electrician after 38 years. Wayne was a very active member of Amboy United Methodist Church, the Odd Fellows, VFW, American Legion #1 and the International Electrical Workers. He was preceded in death by his wife, Jo Kathryn Toombs; brothers, Wilton Paul Toombs Jr. and Waldo Mac Toombs; and his sister, Peggy June Toombs. He is survived by his daughter, Catherine Louise Lee and her husband, Kelino; grandchildren, Evan Kai Lee and Mallory Alexandria Lee all of Little Rock; and his brother, William Clay Toombs, Sr. of North Little Rock.
