Freddie King, Jr. was born to Freddie Lee King, Sr. and Delois King on March 25, 1965 in Little Rock, Arkansas. He graduated from Mills High School in Little Rock, Arkansas. He was an employee of Coastline Products in Harvey, Louisiana. Freddie was baptized at an early age at St. Luke AME in Hensley, Arkansas. He was affectionately called "Junior" by family and "Buford" by friends. He was preceded in death by his father, Freddie Lee King, Sr.; and grandmother, Rachel Mozell. He leaves to cherish his memory: his mother, Delois King, of Woodson, Arkansas; one son, Christopher Todd of Tulsa, Oklahoma; four daughters, Dominique Jones of Dallas, Texas, Shemiracle King of Benton, Arkansas, Bethany King of Texarkana, Arkansas and Monique King of Dallas, Texas (attending LSU); one granddaughter, Ramyha Nevaeh Torres; two grandsons, Austin Wright and Aiden Wright both of Benton, Arkansas; grandmother, Olethia Plant of Woodson, Arkansas; two sisters, Bernice Horton and JoAnn Pendarvis both of Little Rock, Arkansas; two nephews, Jerome Withers and Cordell Horton, Jr. both of Little Rock, Arkansas; one niece, Danielle Pendarvis of Little Rock, Arkansas and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A memorial service will be on Saturday, July 18, 2015, 11 a.m., at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home Chapel, 1200 S. Chester St. Little Rock, Ark. (501) 372-1305.
