Kenneth A. Croft

Kenneth A. Croft, 93, a longtime resident of Conway went to be with the Lord and Savior on Saturday, July 11, 2015. He was born Wednesday, August 3, 1921 in Sage, Arkansas to Maud Jackson Croft and Mary Anna Hamm Croft. Mr. Croft was a devoted husband, father, grandfather and friend. He attended Arkansas College and the University of Arkansas obtaining his bachelor's and master's degrees in Agriculture. He taught agriculture in Mt. Pleasant and Melbourne schools. He later went to work for Soil Conservation Services, working in Harrison, Salem, Bentonville, Yellville and Conway, where he retired after more than 20 years. Mr. Croft loved to garden and tend his bee hives, always sharing the fruit of his labors with his family and friends. He set a godly example for his children and family, and he attended Pleasant Grove Baptist Church, Conway. He is preceded in death by his parents, wife of 61 years and 3 days, M. Colene Elmer Croft, sister, MaryLee Edmondson, brother, William Gayle Croft, sister-in-law, Nelda Croft and brother-in-law, Rogers Edmondson. Survivors include daughters, Rebecca Ann Campbell and husband Michael of Virginia, Margaret Parilee Croft, Nina Ruth Baker and husband David all of Conway, grandchildren, Rachel Anne Campbell, Andrew Michael Campbell and wife Ashley, David L. Baker III, brother, Myron Croft of Kansas, and sister-in-law, Kathleen Croft of Little Rock along with a host of extended family and friends. Visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. on Friday, July 17, 2015 at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 18, 2015 in Roller-McNutt Funeral Home Chapel with Bro. John Greer officiating. Burial will follow at 3 p.m. in Finley Creek Cemetery in Sage, Arkansas. Pallbearers will be Andrew Campbell, D.L. Baker, Michael Campbell, David Baker, Steve Edmondson and Mark Croft.
