Glenda Dian Acord

Glenda Dian Acord, 56, of Benton, Arkansas, went home to be with her Lord Wednesday, July 15, 2015. She was born October 11, 1958 at Tulsa, Okla. She attended Zion Lutheran Church, where she assisted with the food pantry. Glenda loved painting and arranging flowers. She is preceded in death by her father, Billy Wayne Acord, grandparents, Martin & Lonetta Diggs, Ruth Bradley and Dewey D. Acord, as well as niece, Aubrey Hankins. Survivors include her son, Eric Overstreet of Benton; her mother, Marcille Acord of Benton; brothers, Gary Acord (Cathy) and Greg Acord (Camille) of Alexander; a sister, Gloria Hankins (Jim) of Vilonia; many nieces, nephews and other relatives and friends. Visitation is 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. Graveside service will be 9 a.m. Saturday at Lowe Cemetery, Royal, Arkansas, with Bro. Mike Doddridge officiating.
