Larry Paul Phillips

Larry Paul Phillips, 68, of Cabot passed away on Wednesday, July 15, 2015. He was born on April 28, 1947 in Waldo, Ark. to the late Paul Oscar and Irene Sybil Warner Phillips. Larry was a Christian and a member of Briarwood Baptist Church. He owned and operated Zellas Trash Service for 31 years. He was a hard worker who loved his family and had a passion for antique cars. Mr. Phillips is also preceded in death by his son, James Phillips; his step-father, Hildruss Smith; and brother, Robert Phillips. Larry is survived by his wife, Sylvia Sandage Phillips; children, Maegen Haynes and husband Justin, and Clay Phillips and wife Noel; grandchildren, Anna Haynes, Holden Phillips, Grant Phillips, and a fourth on the way; sisters, Peggy Lemay and husband Donald, Alice Shinn and husband Charles, Wanda Peterson and husband Rodney; brother-in-law and sister-in-law, Larry and Phillis Green; good friend, Jason Novy; and several nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Saturday, July 18, 2015 at 10 a.m. at Briarwood Baptist Church in Cabot, with Bro. Ron Raines officiating. Burial will follow the service at Oak Grove Cemetery.
