Fred A. Allen

Fred A. Allen, 91, passed away July 17, 2015 in Fayetteville, Ark. He was born June 18, 1924 in Prairie Grove, Ark. to Jess and Effie Howell Allen. He worked for Lockheed Aircraft, was a veteran of World War II, and later retired from the Coca-Cola Company. He was a member of Fayetteville First Assembly of God Church. Fred was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Edith; and wife, Bernice Silvis Allen. He is survived by his daughter, Ann Holbrook and husband Martin of Fayetteville, several cousins, and many friends from his church and the Nantucket Retirement Community. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 in the Chapel of Nelson-Berna Funeral Home with Reverend Tim Smith officiating.
