Kathryn Saegesser Huffman

KATHRYN SAEGESSER HUFFMAN, age 93, of Little Rock, formerly of Malvern, died Friday, July 17, 2015, at Pleasant Valley Living Center. She was born on June 3, 1922 in Webster Groves, Mo. to Albert and Zadie Saegesser. She married Delton Huffman on May 1, 1942, and he preceded her in death on Jan. 14, 2013. She was also preceded in death by one son, Douglas Huffman, of Malvern. Kathryn was a long time member of North Main Church of Christ in Malvern. After moving to Little Rock in 2002, she attended the Pleasant Valley Church of Christ. Her greatest joys in life were being with her family and her church family. Survivors include one son, D. C. Huffman Jr. (Judy) of Oakland, Tenn.; one daughter, Kathey Harden (Randy) of Maumelle; four grandchildren, Kim Smith (Martin) of Jackson, Tenn., Keith Huffman (Kara) of Medina, Tenn., Bethany Chandler (Joseph) of Little Rock and Shelby Harden of Maumelle; and one great grandchild, Angel Huffman of Oakland, Tenn. A private family service will be held at a later date, with interment at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock. Arrangements entrusted to Griffin Leggett Healey & Roth.
