Billie Ferguson

Billie Mae Bowie Goble Ferguson, age 88, of Benton, died July 20, 2015. She was born to Luther Lee Bowie, Sr. and Creola Sue Harper Bowie in Hot Springs, Arkansas on January 29, 1927. Preceding her in death were her parents; two husbands, R. G. Goble and Angus Ferguson; brother, Lee Bowie, Jr.; sister-in-law, Helen (Pat) Bowie; nephew, Murray Bowie; brother-in-law, Bill Elrod; niece-in-law, Beth Bowie; five aunts; two uncles and many cousins. She is survived by her only son, Kurt Goble and wife Debbie; one special grandchild, Anna Caroline Ratliff and husband Blake; sister, Nancy Elrod; niece, Amy Solomon and husband Andy; two nephews, Mike Bowie and wife Janelle and Tim Elrod and wife Lesa; two grand-nephews, Jeremy Campbell and Cole Elrod; one grand-niece, Kristn Elrod and several cousins. Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday, July 23 at Bryant First United Methodist Church. Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday at the church before the service.
