Franklin A. Edwards

Franklin A. Edwards, 75, of Austin, Arkansas went to be with the Lord, July 20, 2015. He was born to Homer and Madeline Edwards of Center Ridge, Arkansas on December 28, 1939. Frank was a loving husband and father, and dedicated employee of Capital Fire Extenguishers, whom he considered an extended family. He retired after 36 years of employment. He was preceded in death by his loving wife of 39 years, Vala Mae Edwards; daughter, Ladema Clemens; and son, Kenneth Wayne Paul. He is survived by sons: Ricky R. Paul (Valerie) and Edgar E. Paul, Ed Edwards (Deborah), Carl Robert Edwards (Sylvia); daughter, Carol Beil; 17 grand children; 19 great grand children and 1 great-great grandchild. Visitation will be held 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, July 23, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Funeral service will be held 2 p.m., Friday, July 24, 2015 at Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home. Burial will follow at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
