Gary Lee Kimball, 62, of Gentry died Sunday, July 19, 2015 at St. Francis Hospital in Tulsa, Oklahoma. He was born February 2, 1953 in Fayetteville, the son of Helen Christine Cooper and Tommy John Kimball. He graduated the Police Academy. He was a police officer for Gentry and Decatur for many years. Prior to his retirement he worked as a security guard for Allen's Canning located in Siloam Springs. Gary was a wonderful husband, father, and grandfather. He was a Christian and loved the Lord. He enjoyed photography, spending time in the outdoors, hiking, and was an excellent sportsman. He was a member of the NRA and a lifetime resident of Northwest Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father, and one daughter; Lisa Marie Kimball. Gary is survived by: his wife of 41 years, Janice Kimball, whom he married October 28, 1973, one son; Richard Kimball and his wife Shelly of Russellville, his mother; Helen Dunovan, of Siloam Springs, one brother; Larry Ray Kimball of West Siloam Springs, Oklahoma, one sister; Brenda Kay O'Neil and her husband David, of Siloam Springs, numerous nieces and nephews, one sister-in-law, Sandra Miranda and her husband Johnnie of Siloam Springs, two brothers-in-law; Bobby Waldrip, of Siloam Springs, Luke Waldrip and his wife JoAnne, of Rogers, and two grandchildren; Daniel Farmer and Samuel Jones.
