Loretta Mary Sharp, 90, of Huntsville, died July 18, 2015 at Meadowview Healthcare and Rehab in Huntsville, Arkansas. She was born August 11, 1924 at Sumner, Washington, the daughter of Alfons and Mary Acenath Cartwright Schoenbachler. She was a homemaker and has worked as a "Rosie the Riveter" at Boeing during World War Two. She had worked as a cashier and waitress in Huntsville. She was a member of the First Baptist Church of Huntsville and was a member and Past Matron of Huntsville Chapter #487, The Order of the Eastern Star. Her hobbies were sewing, gardening and birdwatching. She was preceded in death by two sons, Neal Beeson and George Bodine, her parents, three brothers, Alfred Samuels, Clarence Samuels and Eugene Samuels, one sister, Lola Burr, two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. Survivors include: her husband of 46 years, Gerald E. Sharp of the home; three sons and daughters-in-law, David and Jerry Sharp of Rison, Arkansas, Paul and Andrea Sharp of Fayetteville, Arkansas and Loren and Brenda Sharp of Springdale, Arkansas; two daughters and sons-in-law, Maryanna and Mark Melson of Huntsville, Arkansas, Karla and Doug Chadick of Fayetteville, Arkansas; two sisters and one brother-in-law, Louise and Ed Streuli and Bertha Mauck, both of Bellevue, Washington; 13 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren and three great-great-grandchildren. Services 10 a.m.Thursday, July 23 at Brashears Funeral Home with The Reverends Jack McCarty and Shawn Swink officiating. Interment in Alabam Cemetery under the direction of Brashears Funeral Home www.brashearsfuneralhome.net of Huntsville. Pallbearers will be: Nicholas Melson, Steven Goodrich, Steve Taylor, Ricky Lackey, Gene Norton and Mark Danner. Visitation from 5-7 p.m. on Wednesday at Brashears.
