Betty Jo Dille Bargar, 89, lifelong resident of North Little Rock, died Monday, July 20, 2015. Born Sept. 28, 1925, in North Little Rock, to Josie C. Dille and Lucy Elizabeth Trice Dille, she retired from the Arkansas State Revenue office and volunteered at the old NLR Memorial Hospital and then Baptist Memorial for many years. She was a long-time member of the First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock, the Triune Sunday School class, and the Order of the Eastern Star. "Nana" enjoyed traveling with church groups, working jigsaw puzzles, collecting recipes and cookbooks, and was known for her eggplant casserole and holiday peanut butter fudge. She was preceded in death by her husband of 25 years, Rev. Bill B. Bargar, sisters, Lucille Miller and Ruby Love Rounsville, and brother, Joe T. Dille. She is survived by her daughter, Darlene Bargar of NLR ; son, Roger Bargar (Helen) of Greenbrier; grandchildren, James L. Bargar (Janel) of Greenbrier; granddaughter, Elizabeth Bargar McCall (Raymond) of Greenbrier; great-grandchildren, James Thomas and Emily Bargar, and Hannah, Lucy and Eleanor McCall; and a host of beloved nieces, nephews and church family. Visitation and funeral will be Saturday, July 25, at 10 and 11 a.m., respectively, at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, with Rev. Brenton Higdem officiating. Interment will follow at Edgewood Cemetery in Levy. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to First United Methodist Church of North Little Rock. Honorary pallbearers are James L.
