Savanna Kersten

Savanna Cazort Kersten born April 26, 1921 to John Dolph and Evie Lena Speck Cazort at Ward Arkansas, died on July 23, 2015 at the Lakes at Maumelle Health and Rehab. She was preceded in death by her parents, brother Dolph Eugene Cazort and nephew Ricky Eugene Cazort. Savanna was a retired beautician and an avid gardener who was generous in giving flowers and plants to others. She was a long time resident of Arkansas County, later living in Little Rock and Benton. At time of death, she belonged to Benton First United Methodist Church where she had been active in United Methodist Women and sang in the Recycled Voices choir. Survivors include daughter Ann and Ken Ruffin, grandson Nick and Kaylynn Ruffin, great grandson Cody and Ashley Ruffin and great great grandson Eason Ruffin all of Mayflower, sister in law Margaret Cazort of Dewitt and niece Dana Fox of Neosha, Missouri. The family gives heartfelt thanks to the Lakes for their loving care as well as Gentiva Hospice. A visitation will be held from 3 to 5 p.m., Sunday at Smith – North Little Rock Funeral Home.
