Bailey Mack Hargis

Bailey Mack Hargis, age 89, of Hermitage, Ark., died Friday July 24, at his home. Born Aug. 22, 1925 in Eagle Lake, Ark., a son of the late John Noel Hargis and Lillie Colvin Hargis he was a retired rancher, farmer, timber overseer and member of Hermitage United Methodist Church. Survivors are his wife Frances Jones Hargis whom he married July 9, 1949; two daughters, Phyllis Belin and spouse George, Branson, Mo., Sandra June Hargis York, Hermitage, Ark.; three sisters, Sonya Knowles and spouse Claude, Hermitage, Ark., Twila Whiteley and spouse C.W., Berryville, Ark., JoAnn White and spouse Royce, Springdale, Ark.; two grandchildren, four step-grandchildren, five great-grandchildren and nine step-great-grandchildren. Funeral services 2 p.m. Sunday July 26, at Frazer's Chapel. Burial Union Hill Cemetery at Ingalls by Frazer's Funeral Home. Visitation 1 p.m. Sunday July 26, until service time at Frazer's.
