Deane Boyd

MS. DEANE BOYD, 90, of Little Rock, received her wings on July 23, 2015. Ms. Boyd was born on April 16, 1925 in Nashville, Ark. where she was a standout basketball player and Salutatorian of her class. Upon graduation, she moved to Little Rock, first working at the Armory in Jacksonville then finding her way to Woolworth's where she worked until she retired. Deane was a gracious lady who always had a smile for everyone she met. She loved her church and church family at Second Baptist Church downtown. In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent Second Baptist Church 222 East 8th Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72202. A memorial service will be held at a later date.
