James (Jim) T. Blasingame

JAMES (JIM) T. BLASINGAME, 64, of Jacksonville, passed away on July 23 of a lengthy illness. He was born on Feb. 23, 1951. He never met a stranger. He loved his little pet, Monia. He was preceded in death by his father, Haywood Blasingame and step mother Betty; his mother, Mada Blasingame; one brother, Richard Blasingame; grandparents; Maynard and Edith Blasingame and Dewey and Iva Horton. He is survived by his loving wife of 43 years, Frances Holt Blasingame (Cissy), his sister; Linda Holmes (Gadon), Jeremy Holmes (Jenny Hailey), and many loving nieces and nephews. Funeral service will be Monday, July 27, at 10 a.m. at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Burial will be Monday, July 27 at 2 p.m. in Woodman Cemetery in McCrory.
