KENNETH FRANKLIN HILL, 84, of North Little Rock, "took the last bus home" July 23, 2015. He was born Feb. 23, 1931 in Stuttgart, Ark. He served in the Army, receiving the Purple Heart and Bronze Star, and retired from the Air Force in 1970 after 20 years of combined service during the Korean Conflict and Vietnam War. He is survived by his wife of 42 years, Brenda Janski Hill; daughter, Kennetha DeLanater of Hempstead, Texas; three sons: Philip (Karen) of San Diego, Calif., Michael (Ann) of Ft. Smith, and Kenneth, Jr. (Teresa) of Alexander; nine grandchildren and six great-grandchildren. Kenneth is preceded in death by his father, Robert Franklin Hill; mother and stepfather, Pearl "Toots" Hill Dooley and Steve Dooley. Funeral service will be at 10 a.m., Tuesday, July 28, 2015 at Levy United Methodist Church. Visitation will be Monday from 5 to 7 p.m. at the Smith-North Little Rock Funeral Home, 1921 Main Street, 758-1170. Burial will be at Rest Hills Memorial Park.
