Marilyn B. Everitt

Marilyn B. Templeton Everitt, passed into Heavenly Paradise into the arms of her Heavenly Father on Saturday, July 25, 2015. She was surrounded by family and friends. Marilyn was the daughter of the late Warnetta "Nita" Groves Templeton and Wm. C (Bill) Templeton. Her earthly body is now without various illness which had controlled her body for more than a half century. Marilyn was strong and fought a good fight. The Lord let her enjoy a long life, her favorite quote being "The Lord isn't ready for me yet." She was of Baptist faith and is preceded in death by her parents, son, Chet Wm. Cavender, sister, Madelyn K. Frazier, and infant niece, Debra Frazier. Marilyn Graduated from NLRSHS in 1957 and was close to many in the class. She was on the reunion committee and enjoyed it to the fullest. She loved to fish with her husband, her favorite birthday presents were trout fishing trips. She coached bowling for many years at the old Pike Lanes. Her granddaughters and great-grandchildren were her life, they kept her going. She loved the lord, family and Life and stopping wasn't in her vocabulary. She is survived by her husband Troy J. Everitt Jr. of Cabot, Ark., son Stuart "Scooter" Cavender of Beebe, Ark., granddaughters Summer Cavender-Wysong (Frank) of Cabot, Ark., Baylie Beckner (Shay) of Knoxville, Tenn., Callie Cavender of Sherwood, Ark., great-grandchildren, Brysen, Ashtaynne and Cayc Wysong, Noah Close, Hayden Williams, and Ashley, Shaden, Kaden Beckner, daughters-in-law, Melissa Odtallah of Raleigh, N.C., and Cathleen Cavender of Sherwood, Ark., as well as neighbor and friend Nick Fulcher. She was extremely fond of Rhonda her Baptist Home nurse, Christy and many others from Arkansas Hospice. Sister-in-law, Brenda Everitt, niece, April Everitt Reaves (Weinfred), nephew, Greg Everitt, nephew, James Frazier (Heather) and great-niece, Olivia Frazier, & David Byers Templeton. Visitation with family and friends will be from 6 p.m. until 8 p.m. at Moore's Funeral Jacksonville Funeral Home on Wednesday, July 29, 2015. Funeral Services will be 10 a.m. Thursday July 30, 2015 at Moore's Jacksonville Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Park in Little Rock. Then the Family invites anyone who wishes to join us in a Celebration of her life with food at their home 111 N.
