Harvey L Wight

Harvey L. Wight, age 92, of Rogers, Ark. passed away Monday, July 27th, 2015 in NW Medical Center of Springdale. Mr Wight was born May 18, 1923 in Little Flock, Ark. to John and Lela Palmer Wight who preceded him in death as well as a spouse, Hazle McCarley Wight and a son James Dale Wight and a brother, Claud Wight and three sisters, Nina Crow, Mary Rockwood and Rosa Perry. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn Wight, a son, John Charles Wight( Nancy) and a daughter, Lela Mae Wight Maul (Willy); two grandchildren, Monika Rempel and Sonja Maul; great-grandchildren, Nicholas Rempel, Curtis Rempel, Karsten Rempel, Katya Rempel, Kai Rempel, Lindsey Maul, Jordin Maul, Celest Maul; great-great-grandchildren, Chase Rempel, Sawyer Rempel. He was of the Baptist faith and was a WWII Veteran of the Navy. He enjoyed fishing, cards and dominoes. He was a ham radio operator and enjoyed playing the harmonica. Visitation will be Sunday, August 2 from 2 to 4 p.m., funeral services will be Monday, August 3 at 10 a.m. at the Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home at 3800 Walnut, Rogers. Arrangements are under the direction of Benton County Memorial Park Funeral Home in Rogers.
