Joy Carl Griffis

Joy Carl Griffis, 87, of Searcy, died Tuesday, June 2, 2015. He was preceded in death by his wife, Kathryn, his parents, Elmer Christopher Griffis and Hattie King Griffis, his sister, Wanda Griffis, and nephew, Royce Christopher Griffis. He is survived by brother, V. Lynn Griffis and wife Betty; great-nephew, Christopher Lynn Griffis and wife Holly, two great-great-nephews, Bradley and Aiden Griffis and friend, Doris Price. Joy was a veteran of the military serving in active combat in the Korean and VietNam Wars. Graveside services will be Friday, June 5, 2015 at Providence Cemetery, Judsonia, Arkansas at 3 p.m. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the charity of your choice.
