Ruby J. Akers

Ruby J. Akers, 67, of Judsonia was born on May 10, 1948 to the late Terry Collins and Clara Collins Carlisle in Augusta, Arkansas and entered into rest June 2, 2015 in Searcy. She was a loving mother and grandmother and a magnificent cook. She is preceded in death by her parents, three brothers; John Jr. Carlisle, Ralph Collins, Jerry Caldwell, and one sister, Fay Caldwell. Left to cherish her memory are her husband of 38 years, Donald, of the home, three sons; Jimmy Waldrup of North Little Rock, Johnny Waldrup (Lisa) of Ward and Rodger Waldrup (Sonia) of Conway, three daughters; Debra Lang (Chuck) of Georgetown, Teresa Blakely (Brent) of Searcy and Kerrie Chappell (John) of Beebe, eleven grandchildren; Tara Chapman, Megan Huinker, Austen Blakely, Autumn Blakely, Garrett Tyndall, Joshua Chappell, Jacob Waldrup, Mackenzie Waldrup, Brittnee Brown, Brodie Brown, Logan Brown, nine great-grandchildren, five sisters, one brother, other family and many friends. The funeral service will be at 11 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at the Roller-Daniel Funeral Home Chapel with entombment following at White County Memorial Gardens.
