Shirley Clements

Shirley Ann Clements, age 74, of Bryant, Arkansas passed away June 3, 2015 at Saline Memorial Hospice. She was born March 14, 1941 in Belzoni, Mississippi to the late James Hardin and Rosa Mae Ingold Hardin. Shirley was a homemaker. She had a tender heart and loved spending time with her family, especially her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Shirley loved flower gardening, cooking, reading and crossword puzzles and was never without her sweet tea. Shirley loved animals and she knew the way to every dog's heart was a can of Vienna sausages. She is preceded in death by her parents, a brother, Don Hardin and a sister, Peggy Reed. Shirley is survived by her husband of 55 years, Harold (Slim) Clements Jr. of Bryant, Ark.; daughter, Denise Smith (Lee) of Benton, Ark.; brother, Buddy Hardin, Jackson, Miss.; sister, Barbara Stewart (Dennis), Memphis, Tenn.; sister-in-law, Debbie Hardin, Marion, Ark.; grandchildren, Karen Denton (Don), Benton, Ark., BJ Ward (Christin), Bauxite, Ark., Bryan Czajkowski (Randy), Boston, Mass.; great-grandchildren, Charlie Denton, Benton, Ark., Blaize Kuandart, Haleigh Ward, and Trace Ward all of Bauxite, Ark. Graveside Services will be held 11:30 a.m. Saturday, June 6, 2015 at Pinecrest Memorial Park. Visitation will be 10 a.m. Saturday, June 6th at Griffin Leggett Forest Hills Funeral Home.
