Charles "Charlie" Raymond Nesbitt

CHARLES "CHARLIE" RAYMOND NESBITT was born on May 26, 1931, in Rison, Ark. He went to be with the Lord on May 17, 2015, in Fayetteville, Ark. Charles was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond and Rebecca (Strahan) Nesbit, his brothers, Jesse and Gordon, and his sisters, Jeanette Stolarski and Connie Gwatney. He is survived by his high school sweetheart and mother of his children, Glyndal (Vinson) Nesbitt, his children Angela (Tom) Dooty, Chuck (Debbie) Nesbitt, Ronda (Dale) Walters, and Melissa Nesbitt; his grandchildren, Mary (John) Bush, Mandy (Austin) Sturdivant, Austin Walters, and Jarin (Tim) Fontenoy; and two great-grandchildren, Riverlyn Bush and Zeke Sturdivant. Charles is also survived by his sister, Lou (Van) Vandegrift, brother, Boyd (Shirley) Nesbitt, and numerous nieces and nephews. He was a lifetime member of the International Union of Bricklayers and Allied Craftworkers - Local #5, and was a master at his craft. Most importantly, he was a follower of Jesus Christ, and spent most of his life and his last days on Earth sharing the gospel and Christ's love. A memorial service will be held in the chapel at Fellowship Bible Church (FBC), located at 1401 Kirk Road, Little Rock, Ark., on June 15, 2015, at 11 a.m. Visitation will be at 10 a.m. prior to the service. Rosewood Cremation and Funeral in charge of arrangements.
