Jane Claire Smith

Jane Claire Smith, age 53, of Springdale, formerly of Las Vegas, Nev., died June 4, 2015 in Springdale. She was born July 31, 1961, in Memphis, Tenn., the daughter of M.G. and Doris Wells Smith. She was a member of the Church of Religious Science in Las Vegas, Nev. and had worked as a horticulturalist for Wynne Resorts. She is survived by her mother Doris Bowsher, of Springdale; her father, M.G. Smith, of Jonesboro, Ark.; one daughter, Jayme Smith Stanton, and her husband, Dempsey, of Springdale; one brother, Christopher Peyton Smith, of Springdale; five grandchildren: Nya, Alexis, Anthony, Athena and Caden; and her companion, Lorrie Murphy. A Memorial Service will be held Saturday, June 13, 2015, at 11 a.m. at Memorial Funeral Chapel. Cremation was under the direction of Memorial Funeral Home.
