Samuel Dean "Sammy" Loe

Mr. Samuel Dean "Sammy" Loe, age 71, of Prescott, Ark., passed away Friday, June 5, 2015. He was born August 30, 1943 in Prescott, Ark., to Guy and Willie Dean Loe. Mr. Loe had his Master's Degree in Education and taught at Prescott High School and he was the Boys Head Basketball coach for Prescott Curley Wolves. He was a Deacon at Central Baptist Church for over 30 years. Mr. Loe served on the Sweet Home cemetery board. He was a loving husband, father, and grandfather. Mr. Loe is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include, his wife of 49 years, Nora Loe of Prescott, Ark.; three sons, Tim Loe, wife, Cindy, of Prescott, Ark., Ronny Loe, wife, Cara, of Cabot, Ark., Danny Loe, wife, Brooke, of Fort Smith, Ark.; one brother, Dale Loe, wife, Donna, of Little Rock, Ark.; one sister, Janice McFatter, husband, Harold, of Lynn Haven, Fla.; six grandchildren, Lily Loe, Ava Loe, Ivy Loe, Elizabeth Loe, Tatum Grace Loe, Rocco Loe, and other relatives and friends. The family suggests that memorial contributions be made to Sweet Home Cemetery, C/O Tim Loe, 6329 HWY 371, Prescott, Ark., 71857. Visitation is 6-8 p.m., Saturday, June 6, 2015, at Brazzel/Cornish Funeral Home. Funeral service is 2 p.m., Sunday June 7, 2015 at Central Baptist Church with Bro. Tom Mitchell officiating.
