Thomas Milton Stegall

Mr. Thomas Milton Stegall of Rogers, Ark. died Friday June 5, 2015. He was born Feb. 20,1937 of the Stegall community in Jackson County, the son of Perry and Nora (Honey) Stegall. His great uncle and aunt, Frank and Cora( Stegall )Carter also helped raised him. In 1959, Thomas married Sharon Stephens, daughter of Guy and Cleda Turner Stephens. The first half of Tom's life he was a salesman for a worldwide corporation. The second half of his career he was a business owner in Northwest Arkansas for 30 years. Tom loved all sports, especially St. Louis Cardinal baseball and the Arkansas Razorbacks. He loved to talk religion and politics before, during and after sports season! He was preceded in death by his parents, Perry and Nora Stegall; his wife, Sharon Stegall; two brothers, Bobby Stegall and David Stegall; and one sister Camilla White. He is survived by one son, Larry Stegall and wife Dolores of Rogers; two daughters, Linda Stegall of Fayetteville and Laurie Stegall of Rogers; two brothers, Donald Stegall of Hot Springs and Jerry Walker of Mesa, Ariz.; five grandchildren and three great-grandchildren. Friends may visit at the funeral home Friday 1 to 2 p.m. Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Friday at Walnut Grove Cemetery, Ray Fultner officiating Pallbearers will be J.B. Taylor, Billy Max Warren, Jimmy Cooper and Jay Guffey. Arrangements by Jackson's Newport Funeral Home.
