James A. Johnson Jr.

James A. Johnson Jr., 67, of West Memphis died Sunday, June 7, 2015 at his home in West Memphis, Arkansas. Mr. Johnson was a member of The West Memphis First United Methodist Church and an Attorney at Law. He was preceded in death by his parents, James A. Johnson Sr. and Lucy Ruth Slaughter Johnson and a daughter Jenny Johnson. He is survived by his wife, Jean Woodell Johnson of West Memphis, Ark.; a son, James A. "Jay" Johnson III (Kelly) of Fayetteville, Ark.; two grandchildren, Gracie and Josie, and many nieces and nephews. Visitation will be from 12 noon to service time at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, June 10, 2015 at The First United Methodist Church in West Memphis, Arkansas with burial following at Crittenden Memorial Park in Marion, Arkansas Memorials may be made to The First United Methodist Church of West Memphis, Arkansas.
